Today, Qardio has announced the launch of a new feature on its Android App, expanding to now include comprehensive activity and step tracking capabilities. This launch will give more context around your health by giving users the ability to set goals, see a timeline of activity and gain a deeper knowledge around their current habits. Android users will now have a dedicated “Activity Tracker” tab in the Qardio App. To download the Qardio app for Android and start monitoring your activity today, click here.
The build out of the Qardio Android App is fueled by an effort to continue the company’s mission of offering better health management around the world. The importance of activity for heart health cannot be ignored as it’s one of the top ways to prevent heart disease, stroke as well as lower blood pressure. For these reasons and from listening to the requests from the community, the new features were brought to life.
The new features include:
- Overall activity tracking in steps and time
- A timeline of daily activity and inactivity
- Goal setting and tracking
- History of activity and achieved goals
“This expansion of our Android App will bolster the user experience as a standalone app with new features in which everyone can benefit,” says Rosario Iannella, CTO of Qardio. “We’re working towards a world of at-home health monitoring that is simple, efficient and cost effective, and this is a step in the right direction.”
The Qardio App works with Android 4.4 “KitKat” (or later) and requires access to Google Play. For a list of compatible Android devices, go here: https://www.qardio.com/devices/. It is also compatible with Google Fit and Samsung Health. It is available on the Google Play Store here.
